Long Lake Camp for the Arts is seeking Theatre Music Directors for its 2026 Summer Season.

June 23 – August 31, 2026

Music Directors lead musical productions performed across three theatres at camp. Each director handles 2 shows per 3-week session, with 6–8 shows performed per session. Quick turnaround is expected for all productions.

• ·Music direct musicals and plays with kids of all ages
• ·Conduct an orchestra of staff and campers
• ·Put shows up quickly and efficiently
• ·Work across all 3 sessions if possible

• ·Experience as a Music Director with youth in both musicals and plays
• ·Experience with fast-paced production timelines
• ·Experience conducting mixed orchestras

$5,000–$6,000 flat fee, negotiable. Package includes:

• ·Housing
• ·3 meals per day
• ·Staff laundry
• ·Days off
• ·Travel to camp available from NYC and/or Albany Airport
